Rise in Core Business Revenue Results Outstanding Rise in Net Profit by 24.76% of Citizens Bank in Q4; Distributable Profit Stands at Rs 1.46 Arba

Citizens Bank International Limited (CZBIL) has published its fourth-quarter report for the FY 2078/2079 with an impressive increment in Net Profit by 24.76%. The bank's net profit has increased from Rs. 1.80 Arba in the fourth quarter of FY 2077/2078 to Rs. 2.25 Arba in the fourth quarter of FY 2078/2079.

In the same quarter, the bank has Rs 1.46 arba as distributable profit after PL Appropriation and Regulatory Adjustments. This amount can be used for distributing dividends.

The bank’s deposits from customers increased by 8.65% to Rs. 1.52 kharba whereas loans and advances to customers increased by 10.68% to Rs. 1.31 kharba by the fourth quarter. The bank's Net Interest Income (core business income) has increased by 40.29% to Rs. 5.12 Arba compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The bank’s paid-up capital stands at Rs. 14.20 Arba with Rs. 6.44 Arba in Reserve and surplus. The Non-performing loan (NPL) increased to 1.87%.

The earnings per share (EPS) of the Bank stood at Rs. 15.85 and Net worth per share stood at Rs. 145.39. The company traded at a P/E multiple of 12.77 times.

The Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) of the bank stands at 12.93%.
