Reminder: Your Last Chance to Grab Dividend of These Two Companies

Prime Commercial Bank Limited (PCBL) has called its 14th AGM on 6th Poush, 2078. The meeting will be held in the company's head office in Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu, starting at 11 am that day.

Among other agendas, the AGM will endorse a 16.6313% dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78. The meeting of the board of directors held on Kartik 22 decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 16.08 Arba. 16% bonus shares and 0.6313% cash dividend (for tax purposes) have been proposed.

Furthermore, the AGM will also elect/ appoint a board member from the public shareholders.

Mangsir 22 is the book closure date. Thus, shareholders maintained till today are entitled to the dividend payout and can also attend this AGM. As of writing, PCBL has an LTP of Rs. 442.

Similarly, Global IME Samunnat Scheme 1 (GIMES1) had also declared the book closure date for its proposed dividend. Mangsir 22 is the book closure date. Thus, unitholders maintained till today are entitled to the dividend payout.

The company has proposed a 100% dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78. The 134th meeting of the board of directors of Global IME Capital held in Ashwin 24 decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 1 Arba. Thus, the dividend itself is also worth Rs. 1 Arba.

This is the highest dividend ever in the mutual fund sector. The company had only distributed a 4% cash dividend for the fiscal year 2076/77. As of writing, GIMES1 has an LTP of Rs. 20.85.
