Reminder; Last day to secure 25% right share of Citizens Bank; Book Closure on Falgun 26

Today is the last day to get hold of 10:2.5 (25%) right share of Citizens Bank International Limited (CZBIL). The register of their shareholders will close on Falgun 26, 2073. Only those shareholders holding shares one trading ahead of the book closure date i.e. today (Falgun 24, 2073) are eligible to apply for the right shares. CZBIL’s paid up capital currently stands at Rs 5.53 arba. After the issuance of 25% right shares, its paid up capital will reach Rs 6.92 arba. As per NRB’s requirement for all commercial banks to increase their paid up capital to Rs 8 arba by the end of FY 2073/74, CZBIL will need to increase its capital by a further 15.6%. Its last traded closing price stood at Rs 444 as of March 6, 2017.
