Rastriya Banijaya Bank collaborates with Bagmati Province and Vishal Foundation to promote youth entrepreneurship; to provide cheapest ever loan with interest as low as 1% to eligible entrepreneurs

The Bagmati Province government, Rastriya Banijaya Bank, and Vishal Foundation is jointly making Start-up Ideas Call for the young entrepreneurs under which these entrepreneurs can apply with their business idea and the best ones will be chosen for free training and subsidized credit scheme.

The agreement for the same was signed between Secretary of Bagmati Province Dr. Sindhu Prasad Dhungana, CEO of Rastriya Banijaya Bank Mr. Kiran Kumar Shrestha, and chairman of Vishal Foundation Mr. Naresh Prasad Shrestha amid a program.

Per the agreement, selected proposals will receive a subsidized loan facility of up to Rs 15 lakh with an interest of 1% to 3% apart from the free training facility. The idea calls will begin from the month of Mangsir, the selection and training will be conducted during Poush and Magh whereas the loan disbursement will take place during Falgun and Chaitra, as per the media statement.

The government-owned bank currently provides its services from its 242 branches, 205 ATM booths, and 93 branchless banking units located all across the nation.
