Rairang Hydropower (RRHP) and Ridi Hydropower (RHPC) Merger Finally Approved by ERC

Electricity Regulatory Commission (ERC) approves the merger of Rairang Hydropower Development Company Limited (RRHP) and Ridi Hydropower Development Company Limited (RHPC) on Baisakh 26, 2079.

The companies have merged in the ratio of 1: 1. The paid-up capital of both the companies post merger would be Rs 1,14,55,58,000. The companies had signed an agreement to merge with each other on Kartik 17, 2078. The companies have formed a joint merger committee to instantiate the merger-related processes.

Stock trading of both companies is halted until the completion of the merger. As of writing, RHPC has an LTP of Rs. 838. Meanwhile, RRHP has an LTP of Rs. 563.10.
