Rairang Hydropower Net Profit Surges By 42.72% In Q3 of FY 2078/79

Rairang Hydropower Development Co. Ltd has reported a 42.72 percent rise in net profit for the third quarter of the current fiscal year 2078/79.
Publishing the unaudited financial report for the third quarter today, the hydropower company has stated its net income has risen to Rs 5.4 crore in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2078/79 up from Rs 3.8 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year 2077/78.
Rairang hydropower’s total income increased by 20.81 percent in the third quarter of this fiscal year. The income of Rs. 20.5 crores consist of Income from Rairang khola and Iwa Khola. The operating profit increased from Rs. 14.3 crores to Rs. 18.2 crores in this quarter as compared to Q3 of previous year resulting in an increase of 26.70 percent.
The paid-up share capital remains at Rs. 56 crores. It’s annualized Earning per Share (EPS) stand at Rs. 13.09, net worth per share stand is at Rs 110.34 and the company traded at a P/E multiple of 43 times.
The unaudited balance sheet also mentions that “In this quarter, a memorandum of understanding has been signed between the company and Reedy Hydropower Development Company Limited regarding the merger.”
