Public Transport Fares Slashed in Bagmati Province

Public transport fares have decreased in Bagmati Province. According to the Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Transport of Bagmati Province, the fare of public transport has been reduced to be applicable throughout Bagmati Province, including Kathmandu Valley.

Fares have decreased by 2.30 percent in long-distance public transport, 2.26 percent in city buses, and 3.18 percent in cargo vehicles.

After Nepal Oil Corporation implemented an automatic price system for petroleum products, and the price of fuel decreased, the ministry also reduced the fare of public transport.
