Proportional Vote Counting Begins in Kathmandu-1; Rastriya Swatantra Party Leads
Vote counting for the proportional representation (PR) category under the House of Representatives election has begun.
According to Suman Ghimire, Information Officer at the Election Commission Nepal, counting of proportional votes started from the Kathmandu-1 constituency.
So far, a total of 19,728 proportional votes have been counted. Of these, the Rastriya Swatantra Party has secured the highest number with 11,562 votes.
The vote tally of other parties is as follows:

Nepali Congress – 3,664 votes

Rastriya Prajatantra Party – 1,752 votes

Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist) – 1,152 votes

Shram Sanskriti Party – 441 votes

Nepali Communist Party – 392 votes
Similarly, the Rastriya Paribartan Party has received 273 votes, while several other parties have each secured fewer than 100 votes so far.
Vote counting is ongoing, and further updates are expected as the tally progresses.
