Price of Petrol from India Decreases, while Diesel Prices Rise

According to the Nepal Oil Corporation, the price of diesel imported from India has increased, while the price of petrol has decreased.
The corporation has received a new price list indicating a rise of 2 rupees and 47 paisa per liter for diesel and a decrease of 34 paisa for petrol.
Despite the implementation of the new price list, the corporation remains profitable in all petroleum products. Although there has been a decrease in the international market prices of petroleum products, the corporation has not reduced the prices in Nepal.
As a result, the corporation is currently making a fortnightly profit of over 1 billion rupees. Additionally, the corporation has turned its previously loss-making LPG gas sector into a profitable one.
