President Paudel Hails Bhanubhakta Acharya as a Symbol of National Unity

President Ramchandra Paudel has praised the remarkable contribution of Bhanubhakta Acharya to the advancement of Nepali language, literature, and culture, stating that it is unparalleled. On the occasion of the 210th Bhanu Jayanti, President Paudel emphasized the unmatched role played by Bhanu devotees in promoting Nepali language, literature, and culture.
In his message, President Paudel expressed, "Bhanubhakta has transformed Nepali into a poetic language. Through the widespread popularity of his poetry, the sense of national unity has strengthened within Nepal's multilingual and multicultural society."
President Paudel further highlighted that Bhanubhakta's rendition of the Ramayana in simple and engaging language allows all Nepalis to easily comprehend it, thereby fostering emotional unity among people from the Himalayan region, mountains, and plains.
The President's message also acknowledged, "Bhanubhaktiya Ramayana is a significant work that binds the Nepali people together, uniting them administratively and emotionally, with Prithvi Narayan Shah playing a pivotal role in this endeavor. Hence, Bhanubhakta stands as a symbol of Nepali national unity."
President Paudel emphasized the importance of strengthening the Nepali language, noting that it would also contribute to the development of other mother tongues. He urged all language-speaking communities to recognize the significance of language preservation and development, encouraging them to actively engage in safeguarding their respective languages.
Furthermore, President Paudel suggested that developing Bhanu's birthplace, Chundi Ramgha in Tanahun, as a literary pilgrimage site would be a fitting tribute to the renowned poet.
