Premier Insurance (PIC) Revises Dividend for FY 2077/78, More Bonus Shares Proposed

Premier Insurance Company Limited (PIC) has revised its dividend proposal for FY 2077/78.

The company had previously proposed 7.5% bonus shares and 7.5% cash dividends on the paid-up capital. The bonus shares were worth slightly over Rs. 8.05 crores and the cash dividend was also worth the same amount.

Issuing a new notice on the exchange's website, the company has unveiled a different dividend proposal. Now, 14.25% bonus shares and 0.75% cash dividends have been proposed. The bonus shares are worth Rs. 15,31,24,800 and the cash dividend is worth Rs. 80,59,200. The cash dividend includes the tax amount levied on the dividend.

PIC closed at Rs. 1,086 yesterday.
