NEPSE Edges Up to 2,660.39 with Rs. 7.03 Arba Turnover; NRN Tops Turnover Chart

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double-digit gain today, gaining 28.91 points (1.09%) to settle at 2,660.39. This follows a 9.19-point gain in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,633.06, touching an intraday high at 2,663.24, while the lowest point was 2,632.19. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 7.03 Arba, with 15,764,001 shares traded across 309 companies through 70,214 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.32 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 15.01 Kharba.

NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 46.16 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 2,173.

Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBSL) and Nyadi Hydropower Limited (NYADI) led the gainers' list with a 9.87% gain each.

Meanwhile, Unilever Nepal Limited (UNL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 2.13%.

Among sectors, the Investment Index sector registered the highest gain, gaining 2.38%, while the Trading Index saw the highest loss at 0.61%.
