Prabhu Insurance steps into 20th year

KATHMANDU, Aug 3:

Prabhu Insurance Company Ltd has commemorated its 19th anniversary. Speaking at the 20th Establishment Day, chairman of Prabhu Insurance Devi Prakash Bhattachan said that the insurance company was expanding its presence and services to the rural areas by opening offices at the District Agricultural Development Offices.

He also said that the insurance company was looking for the opening of the branch offices in various parts of the country. According to Bhattachan, the company sold 72,215 insurance policies to earn Rs 731.47 million in the last fiscal year 2015/15.

Stating that the company's paid-up capital has reached Rs 299.81 million, he said the capital will be increased gradually as per the instruction of the insurance market regulator Beema Samiti.

Similarly, speaking at the ceremony, Prabhu Insurance Company's CEO Sanchit Bajracharya said that the company was not on the loss despite damages and claim settlement resulting from the recent earthquake.
