Prabhu Bank earns Rs 54.02 crore in Q2; thanks to Net Interest Income of Rs 69.13 crore

Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) stated that it earns Rs 54.02 crore at the end of second quarter of the fiscal year 2070/71.
The bank’s net interest income has increased to Rs 69.13 crore from Rs 35.54 as compared to the corresponding quarter which is just a growth of 94.52 percent.
There is a healthy growth in the deposits to Rs 33.16 arba from Rs 19.40 arba and the loan also reached to Rs 27.20 arba from Rs 18.87 arba in this quarter.
Prabhu bank NPA stands at 10.86 percent.
Also, Prabhu Bank Ltd. on Thursday decided to acquire the ailing Grand Bank Ltd. Prabhu Bank´s Chairman Devi Prakash Bhattachan and Grand Bank´s Chairman Swarup Gurung Koney signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to this effect at Prabhu Bank´s central office in Babarmahal.
