Pokhara Finance to close book from Saturday; investors can clinch 16% dividend till Thursday

Pokhara Finance Ltd has said that it will close its shareholders record book from Saturday for holding the annual general meeting.

According to a notice of Kaski-based finance company, the investors buying shares till Friday will only be entitled for the dividend announced by the company.

Since tradings are not held on Friday, the last day to clinch the dividend of the company is until Thursday.

The finance company has already announced that it will provide 6 percent bonus shares and 10 percent cash dividend to its shareholders from the net profit it has earned in the last fiscal year 2070/71.

According to the unaudited financial statement of Pokhara Finance, it earned a total of Rs 6.18 crore as net profit in the last fiscal year 2070/71.

Meanwhile, the finance company has said that it is going to convene its 18th AGM on Mangsir 5 at Hotel Pokhara Grand at Pokhara.
