PM Oli gets his biometric ID card

National Identity-card having biometric details has been presented to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today.

At a programme organised at the official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar, Director General of the Department of National Identity Card and Civil Registration, Deepak Kafle presented the biometric ID card to PM Oli.

On the occasion, biometric ID card was also presented to PM Oli's spouse Radhika Shakya. The Department on Monday presented the biometric ID card to Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun.

The government has set a plan to distribute biometric ID card to all citizens within next two years.
