Panchthar Power Company Reports Huge Growth in Net Profit in Q4; Look at the Major Financial Highlights

Panchthar Power Company Limited (PPCL) has reported an outstanding increment in net profit by 328.67% in the fourth quarter (Q4) of the current FY 2078/79. The profit inclined to Rs. 16.10 crores in this quarter from Rs. 3.7 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The company in its financial statement has stated that the electricity produced by their project is higher in this quarter than in the past, and there has been a significant increase in income. As the flow of water in the river will increase satisfactorily, the company is optimistic that the project will produce as expected in the coming days.
PPCL has sold electricity (revenue from operations) worth Rs. 40.30 crores and collected other income worth Rs. 37.7 Lakhs by the end of Q4.
It is worth mentioning that the company’s expenses viz operating and finance cost has also decreased by 29.09% and 10.67%, which helped the company to earn more revenue for this quarter.
Likewise, Its reserve fund stands at Rs. 11.6 crores with share capital at Rs 96.25 crores.
Its annualized earning per share stands at Rs. 16.74. The net worth per share at Rs. 112.05 and the P/E ratio stood at 17.24 times.
