Oriental Hotels profit decline by 4.77%; core business activities remain stable

Oriental Hotels Limited (OHL) has reported a net profit decline of 4.77 percent in the second quarter of the current fiscal year 2071/72.
According to the unaudited financial report for the second quarter published by the operator of Hotel Radisson, it earned a net profit of Rs 8.90 crore, down from Rs 9.35 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year 2070/71.
The income from the rooms, restaurants, banquets and other sources income, which remain stable compared to previous year. The company earns Rs 48.92 crore in the second quarter, up from Rs 48.27 crore in the second quarter of the last fiscal.
Oriental Hotels managed to pull off the profit despite provisioning Rs 1.14 crore for staff bonus and Rs Rs 3.05 crore depreciation amortization expenses.
Its annualized EPS has decline to Rs 16.25 down from Rs 18.82 and its net worth per share stands at Rs 116.37. P/E ratios stand at 38.15 times.
