Online Investors in NEPSE up by 60% in just a month; NEPSE publishes intriguing data on broker-client profile

Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has published the list of broker-wise client profiles as of September 30.
Out of all the total 50 licensed broker companies, Dipshikha Dhitopatra Karobar Co. Pvt Ltd. (Broker 38) has the most 17,751 active clients. Last month, it only had 14,672 active clients. Meanwhile, Arun Securities (PVT) Ltd. (Broker 3) has the least 2,130 active clients. It was also the broker with the least number of clients last month with 1307 active clients.
Meanwhile, Naasa Securities Co. Ltd. comes first in the number of clients using the online trading platform as of August 27, with 10,790 online users. It was also the broker with the most number of clients using the online platform last month with 5,276 online users.
All in all, the broker companies seem to have increased their client profile impressively in a span of a month.
Even though Kohinoor Investment & Securities Pvt. Ltd. (Broker 35) has only 4,625 active clients, it has the highest percentage of online users, with 89% of its clients using the online trading platform as of September 30.
When we look at the overall data, we see that 36% of the active clients from all the broker companies use the online platform. Last month, only 22.45% of investors traded online. Thus, the percentage of online users has increased by 60% in just a month. This can be seen as a significant achievement in NEPSE.
