On the day of budget announcement  NEPSE up by 2.46 points; maximum trading of PRVUPO

The benchmark index of Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) moved up meager 2.46 points or 0.26 percent to close at 946.46 level.

Insurance was the only sector to land in red today recording plunge of 0.4 point or 0.01 percent.

Hotels and Manufacturing gained maximum of 18.39 points and 49.23 points respectively.

Banking and Development went up by 0.63 and 0.7 point respectively.

HydroPower and Finance gained 25.56 points and 0.35 point respectively.


Altogether 981,031 unit shares of 141 companies were traded through 1,416 transactions. The total turnover of the day stood at Rs 259.50 million.

Maximum trading of were done of Promoters shares of Prabhu Bank amounting total Rs 72.98 million.

CBBL was traded amounting Rs 22.53 million. PCBL, CDBL and PRVU were among the top traded shares.

Share Price of NNLB and SETI surged more than 9 percent. KEBL, SFL, MMDBL and KRBL were among the top gainers of the day.
