Om Development Bank opens new branch in Boudha; to issue 30% right share after merger

Pokhara-based Om Development Bank Limited has opened new branch office in Boudha, Kathmandu on Chaitra 15, 2073. Mr. Chintamani Shiwakoti, Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank inaugurated the newly opened branch office yesterday. The bank also honored Ms. Rita Thapa Magar, a microbus driver, as a motive to empower women entrepreneurship. omdevpress-body Issuing a press statement, the bank said that it has been providing services to around 1.25 lakh customers through 31 of its branches. The bank is in the merger process with Manaslu Bikas Bank and has already applied to NRB for final approval for joint transaction. The bank will issue 10:3 (30%) right share to its shareholders.
