NRB to Withdraw Rs 80 Billion via 56-Day Liquidity Auction

Nepal Rastra Bank plans to absorb Rs 80 billion from the financial system through a 56-day liquidity management auction. Banks and financial institutions have been invited to participate, with the auction set to take place online at 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
The central bank has announced that both principal and interest will be settled on September 17. As of now, NRB holds a total of Rs 319 billion in outstanding deposits through previously issued monetary instruments.
