NRB to extend its stay in NCC Bank and Gurkha Bikas Bank by 2 more months

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB)- Central Bank of Nepal has extended its tenure to look after BOD and management of Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank (NCCB) and crises ridden Gurkha Development Bank (GDBNL) by 2 more months.

NRB took over the BOD of NCC Bank one year back. Similarly, it has been 4 years NRB is governing crises ridden Gurkha Development bank BOD and the overall management.

Earlier, Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has given the green signal to the crisis-ridden Gurkha Development Bank Limited to reduce the face value of its shares based on its latest DDA report.

As per the DDA report, the existing paid up capital of Rs. 66.08 crore will be reduced to Rs. 19.82 crore and also the existing Rs 100 face value will be revised to Rs 30 per share. The total number of Shares will be 19,82,456 units.
