NRB to circulate brand new currency from Ashwin 16 for Dashain

Nepal Rastra Bank will make brand new currency available to general public from Ashwin 16, 2073 for the upcoming Dashain festival. As per Nepal Rastra Bank, any general public can exchange 2 bundles of Rs 5, Rs 10, Rs 20, Rs 50 and Rs 100 up to Rs 37,000 at a time. The central bank has increased the amount rate compared to previous year. Central bank will make the brand new notes available to other Bank and Financial Institutions (BFIS) from Ashwin 9 till Ashwin 14, 2073. Source: Karobar Daily
