NRB to auction Treasury bill worth Rs 2 kharba today

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is issuing Treasury bill worth Rs 2 kharba today i.e. on Asar 30, 2076 (July 15, 2019). The bill will be issued to the applicants tomorrow on Asar 31, 2076.

NRB is issuing Treasury bills with three different maturities; 91 days, 182 days and 364 days.

Treasury bills with 91 days maturity period are worth Rs 80 arba, that of 182 maturity period are worth Rs 60 arba, and similarly the Treasury bills with 364 days maturity period are worth Rs 60 arba.

Treasury bills will mature on Ashwin 8, 2076, Poush 29, 2076 and Asar 30, 2077 respectively.

Out of total offered amount 15% is reserved for non-competitive bidders. Interested bidders can place their bids through Online Bidding System (OBS) only.
