NRB Requests Media Convention to Announce Monetary Policy 080-81 This Afternoon

The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has called the media personnel this afternoon to convene for the announcement of the much-awaited monetary policy 2080-81. 

Dispatching an invitation of the press conference, the Nepal Rastra Bank stated that the event will be conducted in presence of NRB Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari, at 3:00 pm at the Yak and Yeti Hotel in Durbarmarg. 

During the convention, Governor Adhikari is expected to take questions from the journalists regarding matters of the unveiled (by then) Monetary Policy for the year 2080-81. 

It has been learnt that NRB will unveil the monetary policy via its website. 

Following the same, the Governor Adhikari is scheduled to discuss and take journo questions regarding the monetary policy this afternoon. 

A meeting of the board of directors (BOD) of the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) was held this morning with the agenda to discuss the final approval of the monetary policy.
