NMB Bank signs agreement with Singapore based InstaRem; to bring more reliable remittance service

NMB Bank Limited (NMB) has signed an agreement for remittance services with Singapore based international online remittance company "InstaRem". As per the agreement, Nepalese residing/working in Australia, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, India and in Europe can now transfer funds directly into the accounts of beneficiaries maintained at any bank and financial institution in Nepal through NMB Bank, using the online remittance platform of InstaRem. The agreement was signed between Mr. Pratik Gandhi, Chief Business Officer – InstaRem and Mr. Sunil KC, Chief Executive Officer – NMB Bank. Speaking on the occasion Mr. KC said "With this agreement NMB Bank intends to facilitate remittance services through unconventional digital channel thereby providing option for more comfortable and secured remittance transaction. As the service can be availed online, it is an effort to provide simplified remittance experience to customers and value addition to the Bank's endeavor for a Samriddha Nepal."
