NMB Bank reports 18.81% growth in net profit in Q1; EPS and Networth stand at Rs 26.08 & Rs 200 respectively

NMB Bank Limited has reported a decent rise in the net profit for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2075/76. As per the quarterly report published today, the net profit has increased by 18.81% in the fiscal year.
The bank’s profit has increased from Rs 46.34 crore in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2074/75 to Rs 57.05 crore in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2075/76. In the first quarter of the FY 2075/76, the bank had Rs 49.24 crore as Free Profit after Regulatory Adjustments which can be utilized in distributing dividends to its shareholders.
The bank’s deposit has decent growth rate of 19.30% to Rs 85.83 arba and loans and advances have also increased by 30.39% to Rs 82.77 arba in the first quarter.
The net interest income of the bank has increased to Rs 97.62 crore from Rs 62.50 crore of the corresponding quarter.
The bank’s paid up capital stands at Rs 8.74 arba with Rs 8.72 arba as its reserve as of the end of Q1 of FY 2075/76.
The Non-Performing Loan (NPL) has decreased to 0.76% from 1.67%.
In the first quarter, the EPS of the bank stands at Rs 26.08. The net worth per share stands at Rs 199.75.
