NMB Bank Limited (NMB) has posted an outstanding rise in net profit of 43.67% in the second quarter of the current fiscal year 2074/75.
As per the unaudited report published today, the commercial bank has stated that its net profit rise to Rs 1.007 arba in Q2 of the fiscal year 2074/75 from Rs 70.10 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year 2073/74.
Its deposit collection reached to Rs 80.55 arba where the bank floated loans of Rs 70.93 arba till this period.
Its income from Fees, Commission and Discounts has increased a staggering 48.03% from Rs 14.78 crore in the Q2 of the previous fiscal year 2073/74 to Rs 21.88 crore in Q2 of the fiscal year 2074/75 whereas its provision for possible losses has decreased 64.60% from Rs 27 crore to Rs 9.56 crore, both of which helped the bank post an impressive result in the quarter.
It has paid up capital of Rs 6.46 arba with Rs 5.23 arba in reserve. NMB Bank has yet to declare dividend for FY 2073/74 and is in process to issue
1.14 crore units FPO shares at premium value.
Its NPL now stands at 1.20%, which has decreased from 1.89% in the corresponding quarter last year.
Its Earning per Share (EPS) now stands at Rs 31.18 crore where net worth per share stands at Rs 180.98. It has P/E ratio of 14.66 times.
