NIC Asia introduces “Dhanbarsa Muddati Yojana” with 12% interest and no minimum balance

NIC Asia has re-introduced its Danbarsa Muddati Yojana (Fixed Deposit Scheme), under which the customer can claim interest monthly with an annual interest rates of 12%.

The bank had introduced this scheme earlier and according ot the press statement, because of its popularity among the customers NIC Asia has brought this scheme back. Under this scheme, the customers can create FD account from any NIC Asia branch throughout the country. There is no minimum balance requirement and customers can deposit for a period of one year. In addition the customers can also get upto 80% loan based on the FD.

Today, the bank is spread across the nation with a wide network of 218 branches, 210 ATMs, 14 extension counters, 9 branchless banking unit and 5,500 remittance payment agents.

The banks performance till Chaitra end, 2074 stands as follows:

Total deposit: Rs. 133.72 arba

Total Loans: Rs 108.96 arba

NPA (Non-Performing Assets) ratio: 0.22%

Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR): 13.03%

Liquidity ratio: 20.42%
