NIC Asia Capital has introduced the Dividend Re-investment plan for NIC Asia Dynamic Debt Fund (NADDF). In essence, investors can choose to reinvest their promised dividend on the fund itself instead of receiving the cash dividend.
NIC Asia Dynamic Debt Fund had recently distributed 6% cash dividend (including tax) to the eligible unitholders for FY 2078/079. Kartik 15 was the book closure date. This is open-ended fund which is not tradable at Nepal Stock Exchange like other closed-ended funds and it has no fixed maturity period.
All unit owners who register their names under the Dividend Re-investment Plan by 30th of Kartik 2079 will be considered eligible for this facility. Additionally, if the unitholders who sought to participate in the plan do not purchase at least 100 units by the deadline, the amount will be distributed directly to the corresponding unit owners.
The instruction to apply for the scheme can be found via the official announcement.
