NIC ASIA Bank reports 10% growth at Rs 2.50 arba in its net profit; third quarter report shows satisfactory growth in deposit and credit figures

NIC ASIA Bank has published its third quarterly unaudited report for the fiscal year 2076-77. As per the report, the bank has managed to earn Rs 3.60 arba as operational profit that is 12% more than the previous year’s earning despite of the unfavorable situation created by Covid-19.

The bank has earned 10% more as net profit i.e. Rs 2.50 arba, has extended credit of Rs 175 arba, collected deposit of Rs 196 arba, during the review period.

The bank has disbursed 74% of its total credit to small and retail borrowers thereby diversifying its credit portfolio and has lent less than 5% of its total credit to the big 10 borrowers, as per the media statement.

The bank currently provides its services to its strong customer base from its 319 branches, 461 ATM terminals, 108 extension counters and 61 branchless banking units throughout the nation.
