NIC ASIA Bank joins force with AXIS Bank; Inward remittance now easier from India with more than 3500 branches of AXIS to 192 branches and 5000+ remittance agents of NICASIA

NIC ASIA Bank is all set to kick start an inward remittance service from India following a successful collaboration with Axis Bank. Both Nepali and Indian banking counterparts have already signed the agreement, which has also been ratified by Nepal Rastra bank. As per the agreement, those working/residing in India can dispatch remittance to Nepal through more than 3500 strong branch network of Axis Bank in India which can be received via 192 strong branch network and more than 5000 remittance agents of NIC ASIA Bank in Nepal. As per the latest data, the bank has successfully presented itself as one of the leading banks in terms of physical banking infrastructures of the nation as its 192 branches, 193 ATM outlets, 4 extention counters, 4 branchless banking locations and more than 5000 remittance payment agents have been providing range of banking facilities to lakhs of customers.
