NIC Asia Bank imports US Dollar; aims to improve & upgrade services

NIC Asia Bank Limited (NICA) has started to import American dollars to solve high demand of US dollars. Due to increasing number of workers going abroad there is low supply of dollar in the market.
Issuing the press statement published by the bank today, it stated that in order to solve low supply of US dollars, Nepal Rastra Bank Limited (NRB) has given authority to import US dollars by class “A” commercial banks to make available to their clients directly from the bank. As per the new rules set by NRB, Nepalese citizens going abroad can take up to $2500.
Customers can avail newly introduced facility from designated (32) branches of NIC Asia Bank. All branches inside Kathmandu Valley and some outside valley branches. Moreover, bank will provide VISA International Debit Card to the customers going abroad.
The bank aims to improve and upgrade the services for the optimum satisfaction of customers. Also, bank is always eager to introduce new services and systems to adapt with the changing demand of the customers.
