NIC Asia Bank imports 5 million USD; customers able to avail upto 2500 USD easily

NIC Asia Bank Limited (NICA) has imported US Dollars for the fourth time directly. After NRB had allowed class “A” licensed commercial banks to directly import US Dollars, NICA imported $5 million this time. It had already imported $6 million earlier. Issuing a press statement, the bank said that customers can easily avail up to 2,500 USD against valid passport and air tickets. Currently, the facility can be availed easily from all 32 branches of NIC Asia Bank in Kathmandu Valley. The bank said that it had imported the Dollars to meet up the demand from increasing number of travelers in the upcoming Dashain-Tihar festive season. The bank has also added that no customers should return empty-handed without USD as all of its branches in Kathmandu have adequate stock of Dollar bills. This facility is also available on its Visa International Debit Card, added the statement.
