NIC Asia Bank establishes branchless banking service at 3 locations

NIC Asia Bank Limited (NICA) has brought 3 branchless banking locations into operation. The bank inaugurated branchless banking service in Sandakpur village council, Deurali bazar, Ilam on Bhadra 23, and in Buddha Shanti village council, Jhapa and Rong village council, Ilam on Bhadra 24. Customers in the remote areas can carry out their banking requirement from the branchless banking locations without having to visit any branch. Through this service, locals should not walk for long hours to visit the bank’s branch and can avail banking facilities easily. Customers can open accounts, deposit and withdraw funds, top-up their phone balance, pay utility bills, pay mortgages and also receive mini-statements of their transactions. In addition to these 3 branchless banking locations, NIC Asia Bank operates 120 branches, 4 extension counters and 90 ATM locations throughout the country.
