NIC Asia and NBI sign JANBI accord
NIC Asia Bank Limited (NICA) and National Banking Institute (NBI) have signed the accord to run JANBI, a professional banking course, which is said to facilitate 388 personnel of the bank. The move has made NIC Asia, the first bank to facilitate more than 300 employees at once with the well availed course.
“NIC Asia has trudged forward by giving additional momentum to the learning and development activities. The bank has been carrying out such activities by establishing a separate department in the organisation,” the bank said in statement, “Moreover, NIC Asia aims to establish a Learning and Development Academy and run various banking courses through it.”
JANBI is a professional banking course ran by National Banking Institute which trains bankers on banking and financial services, technology, customer relations, basic accounting and legal aspects necessary to carry out day to day banking operations.
