NIBL Pragati Fund’s NAV slides down to Rs 9.97 in Jestha end; NIBL Sambriddhi Fund at Rs 15.11

NIBL Pragati Fund (NIBLPF), a 7 years closed-end mutual fund scheme managed by NIBL Capital, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nepal Investment Bank, has reported decrease in NAV to Rs 9.97 as on Jestha end from Rs 10.37 last month. The scheme, which was launched with a total fund of Rs 75 crore, has total investments of Rs 49.84 crore in listed shares of 50 listed companies and Rs 50.15 lakh in public issues, rights shares and bonus shares and as of Jestha end. NIBLPF reported a net loss of Rs 72.86 lakh for the month of Jestha, from net profit of Rs 2.77 crore in Baisakh 2074 end. Out of its total investment in listed shares, NIBL Pragati Fund has bought 1,49,900 unit shares, the highest of SEOS. However, it has its highest investment of Rs 2.82 crore in 18968 shares of Asian Life Insurance Company Limited. The last traded price (LTP) of NIBLPF stood at Rs 9.60 as of last trading day. Likewise, NIBL Samriddhi Fund-1 (NIBSF1), a 7 years closed-end mutual fund scheme managed by NIBL Capital Markets Limited, has also reported decline in its Net Asset Value (NAV) in Jestha 2074 end. According to the financial report published today, the mutual fund scheme’s NAV in Jestha 2074 is at Rs 15.11 per unit, as compared to Rs 15.46 in Baisakh 2074. The scheme, which launched with a total fund of Rs 1 arba, has invested Rs 1.11 arba in shares of 85 listed companies, Rs 3.30 crore on bonds and debentures, Rs 3.88 crore in public issues, rights shares and bonus shares, and Rs 10 Crore Fixed Deposit as of Jestha end. NIBSF1 reported a net loss of Rs 4.85 crore for the month of Jestha from the net loss of Rs 1.22 Crore in Baisakh, 2074. Out of its total investment in listed shares, NIBL Samriddhi Fund-1 has bought 15,64,000 unit shares, the highest shares of Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme-1. However, the fund has its highest investment i.e. Rs 4.79 crore in shares of Everest Bank Limited. The last traded price (LTP) of NIBSF1 stood at Rs 11.75 as of yesterday.
