New note exchange limit for this Dashain at Rs 18,500 per person; Find where you can exchange yours

This Dashain, Nepal Rastra Bank has decreased the limit of Rupee Note exchange to Rs 18,500 per person, which was Rs 27,000 last year. However, for people requiring more notes, one-time used and near-new notes will be made available.

The following places will offer exchange facility:

-Nepal Rastra Bank (Baluwatar, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Birjung, Pokhara, Siddharthanagar, Nepaljung and Dhangadi branches)

-Rastriya Banijya Bank (Inside valley branches: Singhadurbar Plaza, Singhadurbar premises, Teku, New-baneshwor, Sano Thimi, Bishalbazar, Naxal, Balaju, Lubhu and Tokha)

-Nepal Bank(Inside valley branches: Newroad, Kritipur, Maharajgunj, Jorpati, Patan Industrial Area, Lazimpat and Bhaktapur)

-Agriculture Development Bank(Inside valley branches: Gaushala, Gathaghar, Ramshah Path, Ratnapark, Thankot and Pulchowk)
