New chairman of Laxmi Bank Mr. Sushil Ghimire formally begins office after the central bank oath; former secretary of Nepal Government with experience in diverse sectors to stir up the bank

Laxmi Bank’s newly appointed Chairman Sushil Ghimire has received the oath from Dr. Chiranjivi Nepal, Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank amidst a program today. Mr. Ghimire, representing the promoter’s group in the board of directors of the bank, was appointed as the Chairman of the bank by the board. The program was attended by deputy Governors and other officials of Nepal Rastra Bank along with Laxmi Bank’s directors, CEO and other officials.

Mr. Ghimire is a former Secretary of Government of Nepal having worked across various ministries. Further, he has also represented the Government in Boards of various government corporations and institutions in the capacity of the Chairperson/Director.
