NEPSE Witnessed Minimal Gain of 0.10% to Close at 2,011.39 Levels On 1st Day of Fiscal Year; Only Five Sector Indices Close Green Led By Investment

The NEPSE index closed at 2,011.39 today after gaining 1.93 points from last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.10%. The index had gained 7.93 points last Friday.
The index opened at 2010.92 and went intraday low at 1,994.75. It then made intraday high 2,018.97 at and ultimately closed at 2,011.39.
210 scrips traded hands via 25,924 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 3,045,889 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.232 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.456 Arba.
Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Ltd (UPPER) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 6.04 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 523.10.
Radhi Bidyut Company Ltd (RADHI) gained the highest 5.48%.
On the other side of things, Prabhu Select Fund (PSF) lost the highest 9.78% today.
Five out of thirteen sector indices closed green, “Investment" gained the highest 0.91% while "Hotels and Tourism" lost the highest 1.2%.
