NEPSE website down after issues with fiber network; Index 4.1 points down as of 12:05 PM

Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE)’s website has crashed today due to the issues with fiber network. The websites http://www.nepalstock.com and http://www.nepalstock.com.np have not fetched live trading data although trading has not been halted in broker companies. Traders can still trade and get live data from any broker offices. As per notice published in NEPSE, “Due to some issues in fiber network of Nepse website we are unable disseminate trading information via website. Therefore we are trying to resolve the issue at the earliest. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.” As of 12:05 PM, the benchmark index at NEPSE is at 1641.36 points, down by 4.1 points or 0.23% today.
