NEPSE Up 18.03 Points to Close at 2,029.43; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs. 1.312 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,029.43 today after gaining 18.03 points from last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.90%. The index had gained 1.93 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2011.71 and went intraday low at 2,000.14. It then made intraday high 2,029.46 at and ultimately closed at 2,029.43.
211 scrips traded hands via 23,383 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 3,142,402 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.312 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 1.232 Arba.
SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) had the highest turnover of Rs. 9.34 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 765. The shares of Api Power Company Ltd. (API) traded the most.
Barun Hydropower Co. Ltd. (BARUN) gained the highest 9.98% and technically hit the positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, Sanima Large Cap Fund (SLCF) lost the highest 5.90% today.
Eleven out of thirteen sector indices closed green, “Hotels and Tourism" gained the highest 4.93% while "Mutual Fund" lost 0.27%.
