NEPSE index movement:

The index opened at 1271.18 points and closed at 1264.36 points with the loss of 6.82 points (0.53%). Number of trading days is 5

The candlestick chart of the weekly time-period is shown below;

This week the NEPSE has formed bearish candle, this week’s candle is the third bearish candle in a row. So formed bearish candle is the candle with the smallest body in the series.

According to the Fibonacci retracement from 1100 (low) points to 1350 (high) points. After reaching 1350 points index floated the 23.6% retracement level and have broke that level.

This week NESPE tested 38.2% level and started moving the upward movements. It will be interesting to see the index movement next week.

Green shaded part in the chart above shows the area between the 23.6% and 38.2% level.

NEPSE has formed small-bodied candle in this week. The volume has increased on a daily basis.

The index was looking stable after the strong bearish trend. The Nepse index usually gains in the month of June-July.

The NEPSE index points fall by 0.41%.  Majority of the indices were on the losing side this week. The top losing sector of this week is Non-Life insurance. The sub-index lost 2.6%. The sub-index was a top loser sector of last week as well. Non-Life Insurance lost 7.17% in two weeks.
