NEPSE Surges Significantly by 45.12 Points Today

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) surged significantly today, gaining by 45.12 points (1.63%) to settle at 2,802.52. Throughout the day market keep inclining trend; however at the very last half hour inclined sharply on today's trading session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,772.82, touching an intraday high of 2,802.52, while the lowest point was 2,766.99. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 8.31 Arba, with 18,816,808 shares traded across 346 companies through 98,162 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 47.64 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 16.05 Kharba.

SY Panel Nepal Limited (SYPNL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 46.81 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,901.

Seven companies hit the upper circuit that includes RSML, SAIL, SOHL, HFIN, SKHL, RLEL and SKHEL.

Meanwhile, Swet-Ganga Hydropower & Construction Limited (SGHC) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 4.35% and it's last trading price is Rs. 424.

All of the sectors closed in green. The highest gainer is Manufacturing and Processing, gained by 3.87%, followed by Hydropower Index, gained by 2.61%.
