NEPSE Surges By Minimal 2.40 Points To Close at 2,706.36 Levels; Others Index Gains Highest

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double-digit gain today, gaining 2.40 points (0.08%) to settle at 2,706.36. This follows a 9.14-point gain in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,708.24, touching an intraday high at 2,722.33, while the lowest point was 2,697.32. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 9.5 Arba, with 27,132,308 shares traded across 318 companies through 87,398 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.09 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 15.29 Kharba.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 49.4 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,311.

Nepal Finance Ltd. (NFS) led the gainers' list with a 10% gain each.

Meanwhile, 12 % Goodwill Finance Limited Debenture 2083 (GWFD83) recorded the steepest drop, falling 8.87%.

Among sectors, the Others Index sector registered the highest gain, gaining 3.06%, while the Development Index saw the highest loss at 1.53%.
