NEPSE Stands at 2,060.73 Level After Double Digit Loss of 45.42 Points; All Sector Indices Closed Red

The NEPSE index closed at 2,060.73 today after losing 45.42 points from last trading day. This is a loss of 2.16%. The index had lost 17.67 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2,109.79 points and went intraday high at 2,112.71. Then, the index ultimately closed at intraday low 2,060.31.
222 scrips traded hands via 46,289 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 6,646,036 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.815 Arba in the turnover amount. This is a bit lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 2.857 Arba.
Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) had the highest turnover of Rs. 15.10 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 2,879 per share. The shares of Nepal Credit And Commercial Bank Limited (NCCB) traded the most.
Himalayan Hydropower Limited (HHL) gained highest 9.97% and technically hit positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, Ganapati Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GMFBS) lost the highest 7.27% today.
All sector indices closed red, "Others" lost the highest 4.84% while "Mutual Fund" lost the lowest 0.95%.
