NEPSE Stands at 1,962.71 Level After Double Digit Gain of 41.49 Points; All Sector Indices Closed Green

The NEPSE index closed at 1,962.71 today after gaining 41.39 points from last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 2.15%. The index had lost 11.82 points yesterday.
The index opened at 1925.74 and made intraday low at 1,915.19. It then went intraday high at 1,963.77 and ultimately closed at 1,962.71 .
228 scrips traded hands via 29,434 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 4,386,439 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.431 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than yesterday’s turnover of Rs. 1.058 Arba.
Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 5.42 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 540. The shares of NMB 50 (NMB50) traded the most.
Adhikhola Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (AKBSL) and CYC Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CYCL) gained the highest 10% and hit a positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, Mailung Khola Jal Vidhyut Company Limited (MKJC) lost the highest 1.91% today.
All sector indices closed green, and “Trading" gained the highest 6.56% while "Banking" gained the lowest 0.74%.
