NEPSE Stands at 1,883.16 Level After Losing 10.54 Points on the First Trading Day of the Week; Only "Hotels And Tourism Index" Gains 0.60%

The NEPSE index closed at 1,883.16 today after losing 10.54 points from last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.56%. The index had lost 23.52 points last Thursday.
The index opened at 1,892.94 and made intraday high at 1,901.31. It then made intraday low at 1,879.58 and ultimately closed at 1,883.16.
225 scrips traded hands via 18,045 transactions. A total of 2,028,348 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 77.49 Crores in the turnover amount. This is lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.119 Arba.
SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 10.39 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 609.9 per share.
Laxmi Equity Fund (LEMF) gained the highest 7.9% for the day.
On the other side of things, NABIL BALANCED FUND-2 (NBF2) lost 6.90% today.
Only one sector index closed green, "Hotels And Tourism Index" gained 0.60% while "Trading Index" lost the highest 1.44%.
