NEPSE slips minimal 0.52 point; Turnover above Rs 330 million

 NEPSE faced very minimal drop of 0.52 points or 0.05 percent to close at 987.03 level.

NEPSE Sensitive faced similar drop of 0.28 point (0.13%) whereas Float surged by 0.01 point (0.01%) to stand at 69.07 level.

Although meager drop is seen in the local bourse from 2 trading days, the benchmark index is believed to surge in coming days as the commercial banks like Prime Bank and Siddhartha Bank has started floating loans against the dematerialized shares.

The total turnover stood at Rs 343.31 million including the manual turnover of Rs 10.95 million.

Among the sub-indices, Banking has slipped meager 1.02 points of 0.12 percent to stand at 875.70 level.


Finance (528.38), Insurance (4118.59) and Others (751.89) has also plunged by 1.82 point, 6.45 points and 8.22 points respectively.

Hotels (2081.50), HydroPower (2340.29) and Manufacturing (1394.51) has surged by double digit of 16.13 points, 12.19 points and 11.37 points respectively.

Development (801.41) has managed to gain 5.77 points or 0.73 percent.

Trading of shares of SHPC and Century Commercial were done above Rs 20 million.
